I have narrowed it down to EaBJM and EaB in terms of value for money. Can anyone offer advice on either or both of these schools.

Eurécole has a very good reputation too.
Here is the website:

I've heard eurécole isn't particularly academic but I think sport/arts get sacrificed at the altar of bicurricular education at EAB and EABJM, so it depends on your definition of academic and what your standards are really. If keeping step with the French and anglophone curricula at a level comparable to, say, a British prep academically, is important then something has to give and seeing as sport/art aren't particularly central to the French curriculum they're an easy target.

From my research I find Eurécole to be an interesting, young, forward thinking and dynamic school that seems to believe in real and meaningful (high standards) teaching and learning.

I am planning on keeping a close eye on the school and I am seriously considering it along with EaB (where she is currently attending maternalle) and EaBJM for dd's primaire education.

Hello
I'm planning a move this year and I'm very interested in this thread, as I will need a bilingual school for my son.
Unfortunately I can't understand what EaBJM and EaB stand for and therefore cannot find further information.
Can you help?
Many thanks

I know this is almost a year old.. but how did you go and what about the test.
just found out we are going to Paris this summer and my DS is 4. We would love EaBJM but I think I am to late to apply?

We're in Paris now (just arrived) and my daughter is 4,5 y.o. So did anybody have any luck with EaBJM? In USA she was in Montessori but I'd like to try different approaches. Thank you!

Are you in contact with any schools? What has been your feedback so far?

Superspudable · 16/06/2011 12:06

My just 5 yo has got a place at EABJM from September and we'll move to Paris next month - I have been assured that it was nothing short of a miracle that he got in after a very frank discussion with the head of admissions. It is rare that they accept a candidate they haven't met but luckily he had a very positive letter from his current teacher and a glowing WPSII report..that was the deciding factor IMO.

I think it will be very difficult to get in for September now at EABJM as they determined who would be on the waiting list in April. EAB just asked me if I wanted to apply for Sept 2012. For info, the application deadline is Jan 31 for applicants within France or Mar 31 for candidates outside France.

Good luck! Where are you living milaF?

Superspudable, how do you like EABJM so far? Eager to hear how it's going and whether you feel it was the right choice.
