If you live in Cyprus, how do you manage work and children's school?

We are thinking of moving to Cyprus later this year, however I'm worried of how we'll manage full time work and children's schools.
We will be located outside the big cities, (Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol), approximately 30 minutes drive in any direction. There's no flexibility on the location.
Those of you in similar situation, how are you doing it?

Schools start early in Cyprus, kids are dropped off at 7.30am to start at 8.00. Primary schools finish at 13.00 but most offer after school clubs which finish at 16.00, that's the Greek schools though and not sure about international ones.

Are you asking about timing or about locations?

If you work full-time, how do you manage the drop-off / pick-up?

More about timing. Obviously, I'm not sure yet what my working hours might be, but if for example I/my husband need to be in work from 8 until 6, then it might be impossible to manage. Unless we find paid help.

Surely this a question more generally though rather than unique to Cyprus? In all countries that I have lived in (or have knowledge of) school times differ from working hours so if both parents work then paid for childcare is usually required, in the form of after school clubs, nannies or otherwise. What do you do at the moment?

If you are on Facebook, join "two fat expats".
There is likely someone on there in Cyprus who can guide you.

I don't have school age children but my colleague drops her child at school at 7.30 and starts work at 7.40 - it's common here to start work early if you don't work in an office. She and her husband take turns at picking their child up at 16.00 from the after school club.

@cardboard33 is right though, it's a situation you have to manage whatever country you live in, it will be a case of choosing employment that fits around the school and their provision.
