Considering a move to Greece - any ex-pats I can talk to?

Just wondered if there was anyone on here who's moved to mainland Greece? I am seriously considering selling up and taking advantage of the £250K property 'Golden Visa' to live in/near Athens. I'd possibly do it in 2 years with my daughter who'll then be doing A-levels (in which case she'd go to one of the international schools) or possibly when she goes to university in 4 years. Just wondered if there was anyone on here who'd done it and can give me some pointers? My main worry would be getting out there and having no friends! I'd like to know more about the community aspect, both ex-pat and locals (I did ancient Greek for GCSE but appreciate that won't be much use, not least because it was years ago and I've forgotten it all, but will be learning the language!).

If you go before your dd starts uni, you’ll be paying international fees so be careful with timing.

What do you mean - international school fees? I'd factored that in.

No, international fees for uni. You can only get UK fees if you have lived in the UK for a minimum of three years before starting uni. If she moves to Greece and attends an international school for A levels/sixth form then she won't be entitled to a student loan and will have to pay international fees which are much higher.
