Returning to UK after long term

We are considering moving to my husbands country of origin (Europe, not EU) for the long term but I’m wondering how it feasible it would be to return in the future.

I am a Brit. We don’t any property in the UK. If we lived abroad from the ages of forties for 10-15 years would we still be eligible for State pension (making payments from abroad perhaps?) or NHS healthcare? If anyone has done or considered similar I’d love to hear your thoughts.

If you have over 10 years of NI contributions you would be entitles to a U.K. state pension ( obviously not a full one) …..for a full one you need 35 qualifying years

I lived overseas for 25 years and made voluntary contributions and will get a full state pension.
we had private health care through dh’s job for 6 months when we returned. Not sure what the rules are re accessing nhs treatment as none of us was ill during that initial period.

Does your husband have British citizenship yet? If not I wouldn’t leave as he might not be able to get back easily.

I emigrated age 50, I still make voluntary NI contributions and they're only about £12 a month.
