France - an equivalent to savlon?

Now our frequent trips to the UK are scuppered I need to find a local equivalent to the last few items that I used to buy in England....and savlon is one of them.

Any ideas? TMI but we don't use it much as an antiseptic cream (so biseptine spray won't work) but my DS gets a very sore bottom when wiping it so sometimes I add a spot of savlon on to stop the paper hurting him and to help clean.

I may as well take advantage of asking about golden syrup too? We don't live near any shops that have a world section...

I think Cetavlon is the French equivalent to Savlon.

You can make your own golden syrup or you could try mélasse as a substitute?

Oooh thanks

HEMA sell pannenkoekstroop which does as an alternative to golden syrup. M&S only ever seem to stock treacle. Who actually uses treacle apart from at Christmas?!

I'm getting cheap paracetemol and tea mailed to me in care packages.

Ah, sorry, just noticed you're probably too far from a big city for a HEMA

Here maybe? www.britishcornershop.co.uk/shop.asp?action=top. I get it from Intermarché, but we're not remote.

Bepanthen in place of savlon?
