Legal Advice

We are U.S. Expats living in the UK.

Need to have some U.S. documents Notarized.

Can an Attorney or Lawyer in the U.K. Notarized out of country documents? Is this legal with U.S. Law? Are the documents still legal?

I know the quickest answer is to call an Attorney, but being Saturday, I don't think any offices are open.

Any Attorney's on board that know the answer?

Thanks.

There are lots of US notaries living in London, and you can also get documents notarised (for free, iirc) at the various US consulates.

There are also UK notaries who can notarise your signature.
