Singapore schools

My husband has the chance to move to Singapore with work. I have three DS. The older is currently taking GCSEs. The youngest are twins in year 4.
I’m a bit worried about shifting at this stage with our oldest DS going into A levels. Any thoughts on schools and making a change at this stage.

I think its a fine time to move. Lots of young adults move 6th forms anyway, so in that respect it wouldn't have a huge impact. dover court international school goes from reception up to sixth form x

There are lots of great schools in Singapore but if it's the British A level your after Tanglin Trust School is the only school that offers this. Every other school is IB (which is a great qualification and shouldn't be ruled out).
If your eldest is up for it Singapore is a great experience

YY to Tanglin for A Levels.

A friend got caught out with moving her daughter at a similar age who wanted to study at a British university. She has ended up having to pay international fees as she was obviously not longer resident. Just bear that in mind as a consideration.

Oh yes that's really important as you have to be resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years before being considered a home student for your fees. As such, you will find that you will likely get a spot at Tanglin as there's often space in the 6th form. On the upside it's a fantastic school

If you've currently been living in the UK for 3+ years, you ll retain home fees rights till 2022.
