Have several friends with children at ISOZ who seem very happy with it, however I think you may find they start at 4 (Pre Kindergarten) or perhaps even 5 (Kindergarten) unless it has changed recently and only goes up to Primary ages. Cut off date is end of August. It doesn't have the same IB accreditations as some of the other International Schools in the area (so some companies won't fund its fees) and is privately owned and run by the head who is British.

btw it is "danke vielmal" !!

Hi

Congratulations sounds like all is going well. It's really warm out here now and feel like being on a summer holiday every time you go outside. London seems like a world away today

Let me know when you're over here and we should sort out a meet up. I should admit at this stage that, despite the name of this site - I don't have any kids (found the chatroom during a broody / technologically adventurous phase and generally look at the relationships thread...) I am, however, very nice and have experience of living and working here, just not the schools etc. bit (hopefully one day, it's such a nice place)

hi nanou, was wondering about you. We're around till 21st July, then we're going on holiday to UK for 2 weeks, so between 21 July to 5th August we're away, but otherwise we're about if that fits in with you.

Like lizs says, or just danke, or Merci is also widely used. You'll find Swiss German uses a lot of English & French words, eg velo instead of Fahrrad, Ambulanz (sp?) instead of Krankenwagon. In Basel even more so. Goodbye is many & varied too, but Ade (from Adieu clearly) is often used. Tchuss, Wiederlüege..........
