Ok, I've just double checked dd's shoes. One pair has a label with UK and European size on it - 29/11.

Have a look here just to make sure!

Also know 11 is size 29 but still be carefull if ordering as here in Germany dd has shoes in 3 different sizes that all fit so depends on make.

LIZS · 01/06/2007 11:06

I'd say an 11-12,

I'll confess - I want to order a pair of Heelys for dd's b'day next week. They have them here in Switz but super-expensive & not the beginners model. Checking over the sizes on amazon.co.uk, there seem to be sizes 1 and up. What would 1 correspond to? I wear a size 5 UK which is 38 european.

Size 1 would be far too big as it's a 33 I think.

Woodmouse · 01/06/2007 12:00

to translate european show sizes (e.g. 38) into UK sizes, just subtract 33 in each case. So 38 = Size 5

Woodmouse · 01/06/2007 12:01

that should obviously read "shoe"

Thanks all. I've just ordered a pair of heelys from the US ($58) in a women's size 1, which according to the website, is a size 31 european. The website recommends buying 1 size larger than normal so they'll be 1 size too big for dd. But she can wait to wear them! Better too big than too small.
