That's it really. DS is only 2.10, but is starting petite section tomorrow.
Seems a bit weird to me as he is so young, only just potty trained (spare pants and trousers packed.) I'm glad there is no uniform, because in my head, i am just thinking of him starting a different nursery, (as opposed to creche.)

Also he is only doing half days, as i don't work and cannot bear to have my pfb away from me all day

I feel pretty relaxed about it as it the local village school, only 8 in petite section and about 22 in the whole of maternelle. However i'm sure tomorrow there will be tears (from me...)

Is it too much to hope that he might come back with his own grand cru? Grin

Arf at leggings on her head Smile Faire toute seule! has been a frequent refrain for a while here - our nounou was great at preparing him for school. He's not too keen on dressing himself yet though although he's happy enough to remove his trousers and underpants every time he goes to the loo

There's one product (pouxit or something?) which I'm refusing to buy on principle until they get a less irritating jingle. She did say that some years they don't have them at all, other years it's epidemic after epidemic. I'm hoping for the former. She asked us all to do preventative washes with tea tree oil/other anti-lice products, so we'll see.

Hope that the week has kicked off to a good start for you all.

We've had a bit of a day. School this morning was fine but since getting back home DD2 was complaining about her wee wee stinging. She wouldn't wee and kept crying every 15 minutes or so. I duly took her off to our doctor (who she screamed at) - he thinks she has an infection as a result of worms! Apparently it's quite common for nursery goers to share their wriggly friends.

So we have worms followed by an infection to add to our 'gastro, rhume and poux' list.
