Oh, ok , but don't tell!

AB, remember you are Loved, and you don't have to earn your place in the Universe ...you are already here. Show your children how well Mummy copes and continues to cope with everything that happens 'cos that is what Mummies do....
Impending doom can dominate the thoughts of someone with thyroid imbalance, but response to continual stress can mess you around. Love yourself anyway. You can perhaps tell that I work with 'images' and have been where you are..... Circular thinking such as a mouse on a wheel.. jump off, take the wheel out of your life. lol You are about to put a beach in instead...complete with some naturally uplifting Ozone. Well done. Someone once said this to me and I hope it may trigger something for you...doesn't matter if it doesn't. . lol. You may feel as if you have all the responsibility and no control (things have happened TO you) well, you ARE in control, you CAN do it, nothing is beyond YOU, and you ARE loved. What could be better. XXX

I have only mentioned that i am a bit nervous about moving, and the car ferry! Nothing else! And I have no thyroid issue...and I know I'm loved! Grin
Bless her

Now justa, don't be nice to me...am feeling a bit blubby!

I have had a lot of pm's like this...I think I'm going to have to learn to smile and nod...a.LOT!

It's nice people care about others, but they don't 'arf sound potty!!

I sent that to my mum and she replied"who the hell sent you that?!"
I can see she will be smiling and nodding too, when she visits!

Are you from the New Forest, justabout? My in laws live in Brockenhurst.

They have provided me with some fascinating insights into their opinions on life in the last few weeks.

Apparently, "the immigrants" in the UK are ruining everything. I like to point out to them dh and I are immigrants, this confuses them quite a lot Grin.

Also, virtually everyone who lives up in the north of England doesn't work but sits around on benefits contributing nothing to society (I lived in the north of England for first 30 years of my life and they know this)

We have had various other comments on Asians/Indians/anyone who isn't white basically (casual racism is not confined to Kiwis!)

Oh and yesterday. Dd2 was being a bit stroppy and I said to her "Oh I wonder what you'll be like as a teenager". Fil immediately said "Lonely. Shell have no friends" Shock Hmm. Ok...thanks for that...

I'm taking them to the airport in half an hour Smile

Shock Really? They give the impression it's quite desirable...

thelittlestkiwi · 03/03/2013 19:28

OH, WSS, you are an angel. I would have lost the plot or resorted to drink.

I try to remember that my the casual racism thing can be linked to age. My granny was a shocking DM reader who repeated everything she read in it. But she also opened her home to people of other races all her life when it was not the done thing. In her case, what she said and what she did were so different.

Sibble- how goes the great job hunt?

Justa- I have a pal who has just gone the medication route and it has made a big difference to her family. I assume you have discussed it with the Dr's and thought hard so don't beat yourself up. You can always stop if you want to.

WhatSheSaid · 03/03/2013 19:37

I'm sooooo not an angel, drink was resorted to on many occasions.

At the end of the day they love the dcs (espec mil, they are her only gc) and that's what matters.

I agree about the medication thing, justabout, you do what's best for your family and you're the one who knows best what that is.

frikonastick · 03/03/2013 19:48

Yes yes to the medication justa. A friend of mine recently went through this with her daughter and honestly, it's not a forever thing, you can stop taking them if you find they don't work for you as a family and if they do, then that's a good thing. It's ok to have your and DSs life made easier, even if its medication that has to get you there.

NOT crap mother at all as well you know. You stop that or I will make that strange woman from Waiheke tell you that you are loved, and all that shit other stuff!Grin
Echo what the others say. If taking pills for a while (or longer thana while, even) makes life better for ALL of the family, not just ds, then what is wrong with that?
And agree about telly day. Sometimes I do that for the sniffles, so yabu!

Feeling a bit sorry for myself too, negative test today Sad

justa i only know you in cyber world but really don't think you are a cr*p mother, we all need sanity days and re. meds I can't comment from personal experience but think that if you think you need them then that is what matters. I also know they have worked well for families I know.

littlest dhs job - still waiting, waiting. He didn't get the Oz job (breaths sigh of relief), he has now had 4 interviews over a 5 week period for a job here and is still waiting the outcome - ho hum....in the meantime he was been offered a position from an interview last week but we're not sure if it is full time/part time or as a consultant as all options were discussed at interview. Meanwhile money going out not quite balancing with money coming in but at least there is money coming in.....

AngryBeaver · 04/03/2013 19:03

I've got my hoodie on, sibble.(well, dh's hoodie) definite nip in the air and the only reason I knew it was getting up time was that i could hear the ear;ly morning traffic starting. Yuk to dark morings

It's overcast here, but still warm enough that I went out and hung the washing up this morning in my pjs Grin

Please don't say summer is over yet :-(

WhatSheSaid · 05/03/2013 00:42

Autumn days can be lovely though frik . Sunny and clear but not so humid/hot and the UV isn't as harsh. I love that some trees lose their leaves, so it feels autumnal, but that lots of other trees keep theirs, so it's still quite green in the winter.
