OP, am wondering now are you a teenager living in Singapore?
I don't expect a straight answer, but if you are, I hope you will read this.
Drugs are available in Singapore. Not readily but we know they are there nonetheless. And not only in squalid shophouses along geylang road.
Please steer clear.
Apart from the obvious death sentence, you have to consider another risk: doctors in Singapore are not trained to deal with serious emergencies related to dealing with intoxication & overdose because they don't know what substances are out there.I have a friend who is an anesthesiologist in a major hospital and it is not so uncommon. Toxicology tests are routine for a reason.
The situations arise regularly and staff have little medical and psychological training to deal with overdose or addiction.
There is no proper sanitary message. Not that I've seen and heard of anyway.
And considering the ridiculously predictable ongoing debate between AWARE and the MOE on sex education here this is unlikely to change anytime soon.
It's not at all surprising due to the prevalent missionary ethos Singaporean schools.
The big lowdown of raising children above 12 in a place like Singapore is that they are too sheltered and not at all streetwise.
There is no education about dangers of drugs apart from the usual patronizing message adressed to lower class minorities linking drugs crime and unemployment.
Anyway, since the object of this post seems to be a "research", my only advice is educate yourself and steer clear.
Hope you appreciate a straight answer.
