Looking at the rental possibilities in KL, none seem to have baths. Is this standard, and what do you do to bathe the kids?

both mine wash in the shower and have done for years (age 5 and 8). What ages are your lo's?

They will be 1 and 3. 3yo is scared stiff of the shower.

Good call. There's an IKEA there, so I imagine they will do something? Will look now. Thanks. :)

Why not just buy a big bucket, like the ones used for washing clothes.

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 20/05/2012 17:08

I'm sure I'll find something. Thank you :)

We have no bath (although live in England). My DS is 2.5 and LOVES his flexibath - would highly recommend them. Easy to store and put up, fairly spacious (although not massive) and nice bright colours. Recommended up to age 4.

if the shower basin is deep ish, you could just put a plug in, and fill that up with water, they'll still get clean and have fun. That's what we did on holidays. Then dc might get used to shower and stop being scared.

We just had a bathroom redone and took the bath out completely and replaced with a big shower (have 3 yr old who is not keen on showers).

Nosey - what's KL?

PestoSandalissimos · 21/05/2012 08:19

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

ah, ok. shower basin a possibility? or even one of those big under bed plastic drawer things. still have a few inches of water, and when you're done you can use it for storage. They'll be onto showers soon enough

We used a flexibath with 2,6 and 0,6 yr olds when we were in a rented place for a while. It worked well but it was certainly a temporary measure. Try taking the oldest in with you to get her used to the shower? Showers are prob more practical over there, no? Good luck!
