my friends recently emigrated to NZ and is moving into their new house soon. I want to get them a new home gift and thought it would be easier to order from a company based in NZ than to buy here and post. Can anybody recommend a good website? They will be living in the Waikato region.

Hi I've ordered from www.cuisinescene.co.nz for lovely foodie treats and the feedback has always been that everything is absolutely delicious. They are based in Hamilton so it's a local company and the products are produced locally too - so if your friends like them they should be able to find them again at markets / delis etc.

Damn phone! Any suggestions for a 30th present would be greatly appreciated and also ideas for newborn gifts. Is it possible to get pandora charms? Or Cath Kidston-esque things?

You could have a look at www.ezibuy.co.nz I've bought a fair amount of stuff from them over the years and they've been reliable and the quality is average to very good.

If you have a look on Facebook for The Pressie Box they are based in Tokoroa, NZ and do the most gorgeous gift boxes, however I'm not sure if they do online orders yet. I organised a gift box for MIL for Mothers Day and she loved it, it looked gorgeous!!
