Denosumab day for me. Going to take the girls for lunch at the pub over the road after. Then we need to nip to P@H for cat litter. Probably call in the Range and Home Bargains first & then taxi or uber from P@H.

But first...the joy of holding dd1's hand while she rings Westminster Uni for a third time & asks them to help with linking MS Authenticator with the uni email address they've given her. She now wants to go & we have 3 ish weeks til move in 🤯

How did calling uni go?

Oh she’s coming down to London? Fab! My niece did it four years ago and had the best time. Just let her get all the loans she can and there are plenty of part time jobs. I’m so pleased. Where are the halls?

@sellotapechicken all sorted - amazing what "my daughter needs X sorted" will do instead of her umming and aaahing about the problem 🙄. Shouldn't be that way but is 🤷‍♀️

@EachandEveryone yes! She's been set on London for a while. Accommodation's near Wembley arena/stadium.

Oh yes it’s all new around there. Tell her to get a job at the stadium she will see loads of bands for free! They pay well.

Yes it is. That makes it flexible though. My niece got a job in a pub in the west end. Wembley has a great tube line.

Thanks @EachandEveryone do you know which agency it'd be? She's hoping to get into hospitality again, she enjoys being on the bar at the racecourse.

The tube to Wembley's the only one I can manage 🤣.

I’m doing ok, DH has finally told his family that I’m stage 4 and will never have children, so now they’re trying to send me info about surrogacy but I don’t want that so im just deleting all their messages

Sorry that was blunt! I think they think they’re solving a problem but it can’t be solved. I froze eggs before my hysterectomy but I can’t think about having a baby ever because it will not happen.

@Enigma53 One of the surgery programmes (the BBC one I think) showed a woman having her vagina removed. I remember thinking at the time that the woman was incredibly stoic but wondered if it was different when the cameras weren't on. Although to an extent, as with most cancers, there's a desire to have the bastard cut out before it can do any more damage. How are you feeling about it? (I realise it's only a possibility at this stage)
