Does anyone know anything about patients receiving radiotherapy and being around babies?

Normal radiotherapy doesn't leave any radiation in the patient as soon as the machine switches off - it's like a very powerful x ray.

There are a few types of internal radiotherapy where people are injected with, swallow, or have radioactive material placed in them, but they are issued with special instructions as to how long they can spend with children. These are one off type treatments and will normally involve a hospital stay as opposed to the more normal type where you go several times a week for a few weeks
