I attach a link to her website. It shows a short video which will tell you all about it much more clearly than I can:

www.save5.org.uk/video-appeal.html

She has been ill for many years and has put all her efforts into trying to help other people in need of organ donation. I know some people don't want to register to donate, but if you think you could, please, please take the two minutes now and do it.

I think I've been registered since learning to drive but joined again when I did my car tax recently just in case.

Now I'm just working on talking DM round...

Done. I registered when I was 18, but didn't think to register in my married name before I read your post.
So sorry about your friend.

We are all registered donors in my house.

My friends husband had a liver transplant last week and is doing really well. The surgeon said he wouldn't have lasted 3 months

Again, thank you all so so much! I'm about to email Tee - it's her birthday today - so what a fantastic present.

You are all lovely.

Bumpimg this as she has being nominated for the Pride of Britain awards so please add you name. Use the website address where it asks for details.

her FB page

The category you need is the special recognition category, this would not only be brilliant for a special lady but raise much needed awareness for donor registrations.

Thanks.

Just re- registered as it was many years ago when I first carried a donor card. Have spoken to DH and the children about it too.
I also wish it was opt out.
Prayers and good wishes.
