I am pretty cautious about films featuring lesbianism these days, because I got really sick of the dead/doomed lesbian trope.

However, there have been some wonderful films lately and I feel I have a top three.

  1. Portrait of a lady on fire
  2. Ammonite (best sex scenes on film, imo)
  3. Brokeback Mountain (for the scenery as much as the gays)
Anyone here got a favourite they'd like to share?

God's Own Country. Beautiful, mesmerising film.

Saving face is my favourite

I am very much looking forward to Blue Jean's.

All Over Me was lovely but it's been a long long time since I've seen it and I imagine it's a bit dated now.
