Witnesses in a non-molestation order application

Hello, I'm looking to get a non-molestation order against a family member for quite well documentated abuse (serious incidents have been witnessed by medical professionals so are well recorded). Whilst filling the form in it asks for witnesses who know about this. I have many people I could ask if they're happy to be mentioned, but how would this process look? Do I need to provide a statement from them? Will the court contact them all as standard or are they just there to be contacted if the court wants facts to be verified further?

Anything is fine but I don't want to start asking people to be witnesses without knowing the extent of what they may be asked to be involved in?

The court won't contact anyone. If the family member disputes your application and there is a hearing, your witnesses may need to attend court to give evidence of what they know and face cross examination.
