Responding to allegations of abuse(Family court)

Ex provided a 50 page filled with allegations via solicitor in statement, some provided evidence which I mainly can dispute easily with my own evidence.

Do i have to respond to each and every allegation? some are just so silly to even acknowledge but i am confused if i should even respond to them all.

example of one -"he kept me away from friends and family" , this is just silly, she had friends in our home every other day as a SAHM and all of our friends for years where actually her personal friends. Her parents are willing to back her up in court for this silly lies, appalling

we had our FHDRA and this is the 2nd court date coming up

Were there other friends she wasn't allowed to see? You don't mention family. Was she allowed to see all family members she wanted to?

I was in an abusive relationship. My ex wouldn’t actually ban my friends from our home but he would make them feel unwelcome, ignore them, and give me a dog’s life once they’d gone with his sulking and silent treatment. Eventually I started making excuses to them to try and put them off coming round to save his moods.

If I had accused him of stopping me seeing my friends he would say that it was a ludicrous accusation because he didn’t ever say “Your friends can’t come here”.

I'll be honest, there isn't a decent woman on Mumsnet who would want to help a man get one over on his possibly abused wife in court.

50 pages is quite a lot for it all to be nonsense.

She's showing a pattern of behaviour with the allegations, so some will seem minor, others major, others in between, but the court will look at it as a whole, to determine whether you subjected her to coercive controlling behaviour.

You respond to each allegation with agreement, denial, explanation, and evidence if you have any.

The court decides which of you is telling the truth on the balance of probability.
