Can you find out if someone made a will?

My friends daughters think their recently deceased dad did but they can't find any evidence. He was very close to divorcing his third wife (separated since 2019) and without it she will get everything.

They could put an ad in the Law Society’s Gazette, there always used to be a section in there for just this purpose.
Other than that, contact all solicitors practices close to where he lived, check his emails, ask his friends what they know.
