Neighbour hoarding rubbish

My neighbour is a hoarder of junk ie; empty food containers and old buckets etc. The problem is now overflowing to the side of the house, towards the front. We have our house up for sale and wonder if there is anything we can do about it. We can not talk to him about it.

The council in my city don’t care. It’s usually too much of a hassle for them to bother because the hoarders often have mental health issues and it can involve multiple agencies.

That is unsightly but it’s not something that you could do anything about legally. The council won’t be interested in that. Your best bet would to be to try and conceal it from your side or to try and get them to move it for you by bribing them or sucking up to them.
