Hello is there any one who can advise me on the best way to have a warning letter sent to someone for defamation of character?

ex husband telling our 13 year old daughter that I am a prostite. Thank you

any way to do it so it’s not too expensive etc. personal recs. am in UK thank you

It’s not about not feeding him, he’s been saying this for years and it’s just gone one step too far. He’s a relentless narcissist who needs stopping

You could report him to the police for harassment. Getting a solicitor to send a letter can be expensive, and reality is you won't sue him for defamation - and a quick Google will make him aware of this - so there's nothing to be gained.

A police complaint though could yield the result you want.

Cease and desist from a solicitor?
My DD28’s tried this when she was 7. A Mediaton solicitor told him to stop, as he was damaging her, not me.
So sorry you’re going through this.
