Anyone know what the little squiggle is that appears on the boundary?

The register describes the boundary that needs to be maintained in terms of e.g. "boundary at the north of the site", the squiggle appears on the north boundary and on another one too (e.g. the south boundary) but there are no references to the south boundary in the text.

The title plan show the same squiggles on various boundaries of nearby properties too.

The "area brace symbol" on maps, often resembling a stylized "S" or elongated brace, indicates that multiple land parcels are treated as a single entity for mapping purposes, typically sharing the same field parcel number. This symbol helps clarify the boundaries of a single landholding, even if it's physically split by features like roads or fences.

Thanks, so am I right in thinking they hold no particular relevance for working out who's responsibile for a particular boundary, given that the markings aren't mentioned in the title register?
