My husband owns a registered property (with land registry) with part residential part business.
If he assigns a share (of the whole property as a gift), in order to share the profits, does it create a trust that has to be registered with the TRS?
And if it does not need registering with TRS, should there be a restriction on the land registry in my name?
Any advice greatfully recieved... I am struggling to understand it all.
I'm hoping to put this in the property forum too....
