Property Title Register

Prompted by another thread, I have realised I genuinely have no clue whether DH and I own our house as joint tenants or tenants in common😣, so I just downloaded our Title Register. I am still none the wiser. Googling suggests it should be obvious, but I am clearly missing something.

Can someone tell me what I should be looking for, please? It says 'Title Absolute', but no reference to TiC/JT.

Does it say something like ""No disposition by a sole proprietor of the registered estate"

If so, it's tenants in common

No, doesn't say that.

No, doesn't say that.

The full phrase is something like:

RESTRICTION: No disposition by a sole proprietor of the registered estate (except a trust corporation) under which capital money arises is to be registered unless authorised by an order of the court.

If it says this, then you are tenants in common. If it doesn't say that then you are joint tenants

Joint tenants it is, then - thank you - just irritating it doesn’t say it as clearly as expected!

Are both of your names (yours and DH's) on the Title Register?
