My ex partner had been realised from prison, long story short I was in an abusive relationship 2021 it took the police until the beginning of this year to catch him and sentence him, during this time I was receiving abusive messages & being followed from my place of work, and family cars damages. He's finally got caught beginning of this year about April time. He got released in August I wasn't aware of this until today when I spoke with victim support, but on his bail conditions it states not to be withing 100mrts of my street.. now this is a new street iv moved onto das an emergency move when I finally spoken up.about what was going on, now he knows my street.. I am a council tenant, would they be able to move me again ? Has anyone dealt with this before?

yes as a DV worker some time ago this cropped up from time to time and is ruddy well unacceptable.

do you have information such as has he been released before his full sentence has been served, is he on license, so if he is and breaches the condition then he will be returned to prison.

He will have a probation officer so something has gone wrong between agencies.

However assuming you are high risk given he was sent to prison i would contact your local DV provider ASAP to get them to help you sort this out.

Thankyou.. he was released early so he is on licence and has bail conditions in place to but having bail conditions in place didn't help when he was arrested the first time around when they was investigating the situation, I am now terrified of leaving my property just incase he is watching the street

Contact women’s aid or your local DV support charity and inform the police he knows your new address now. Contact everyone , make a huge fuss as they have put you in danger now.
so sorry Op .

This happened to my friend. She complained and they said he needed to know where he wasn't allowed to go.

This. As long as his bail conditions state that he must not be within 100m of your street, he will need to know which street he has to keep away from.

Yes, that's what I was going to say. If he has to keep away from you, he can't not be told where that is.

And I suppose it means he can't find out where you live and then "accidentally" bump into you outside your house and claim he had no idea you lived there.

How big of an area do you live? In a large city or London borough you could never bump into someone but where I live, unless someone was told they were excluded from x road there's a large probability of accidentally walking past, it's simply not big and there's only council (ha) properties in certain parts so if I wanted to locate you it would be easy hence an exclusion order would be essential so he can be arrested for approaching
