How do I notify the court that I intend to breach a child arrangements order?

Current child arrangements order, the solicitor I used for this has been too busy to take my call/ email.

There has been an incident, police and social worker have advised not to send kids for contact this weekend and told me to notify the court. How do I do this please?

Via a C2 application if the proceedings are ongoing.

There is no requirement for you to inform the court you are going to breach an order - the only real reason to apply is to ask them to vary the current order. Form C100.

You don’t need to do this….you are just going to excercise your Pr to protect your children

Thank you.

The final order was written years ago so not ongoing.

I was worried about being in contempt of court because the only advice I could find seemed to be aimed at men dealing with exes stopping contact for 'no reason', which I assume my ex will also say, and the consequences were fines and prison time. Which is obviously unnerving.
