Redundancy law

Can anyone help with some advice please.

I've been put on the at risk list at work so my options are find a new job within the company or be made redundant.

My issue is that I have also been taken off the org chart at the same time and my team is being disbanded and a new chart has been issued which will be in effect next month without me on it. Meanwhile I am expected to do my current job and both find and train up someone else before I finish my notice period in three months time. So I have two months working in a role that does not officially exist in a team I don't officially feature in at all.

Is it legal to take someone off the org chart (so am not officially in any team) but expect them to work?

Surely it's be a full employee or be on garden leave?
Any legal views on this one please. Thanks.

There is no law around org charts. A company doesn't have to have one at all, nor does it have to be up to date. It is perfectly legal to expect you to work even though you aren't currently on the org chart. The only question it raises is whether the redundancy consultation is genuine.
