Clare's Law

So I did Clare's law on my ex who I don't see anymore and haven't seen for months. I then decided I didnt want to know but I explained he did send threatening messages and we have a baby (that he doesn't see and hasn't seen for months) the officer did a interview asking me questions and told me he wasn't concerned about our safety at all but that he will give my details to ss (I have never had any involvement) I explained to him I haven't been with my ex for months and he hasn't seen our daughter for months. The detective has emailed telling me the case has been closed. Do I need to be concerned about social services visiting?

I think you need to call the officer back and find out what he was going to tell you, why on earth wouldn't you want to know?

Telling social services will be protocol so they can assess your risk from him. For example imagine if he's a stalker and he stalks exes, then you're at risk. You really should find out what's on file!!

I just want to move on from him and all of it, I just want to know if social services will be involved as the police have "closed" the case
