Sorry for the long paragraph you're about to read, I need advise. My babies dad took my child the other week I haven't seen my child in 2 weeks in total, he is refusing me all access even supervised I have sent off forms for court. He refused mediation in the past, he is using my mental health because the day he refused to give him back and started saying I was no mom to my child etc I had a welfare check because I was suicidal, he is using my mental health against me. Then a few days ago I went to the house and asked for a welfare check on my child as I hadn't seen him at all and was extremely concerned when I left the properly his dad approached me and my brother, so my brother went to go and talk to him he started to shout in my brothers face, I asked him where my son was and he said in the house with his new partner I said I'm going down to get him as I couldn't believe he'd left him alone with his partner. He then got in my face and threatened me so I pushed him, he got me arrested with common assault which I did a statement saying it was self defence I'm now on bail while they're investigating this as there was no proof of assault. My biggest worry now is this will all go against me in court I just want my child back I don't want him to stop having contact with his son but I just want my son back in my care and to actually see him this is the longest I've been with out him he is 9 months old and has always lived with me since birth

@chloesinglemum2000 You must see a solicitor urgently. They will guide you regarding access to dc for both of you. The assault might not go to court unless you actually hurt him. However to sort out who DC lives with, you must see a solicitor. Very quickly.
