Can solicitor (claimant) disclose my (defendant) correspondence with them in court?

I have a question please. I am due to go to court for non-payment of legal fees at the beginning of next year.

The solicitor has included emails I sent to them in the bundle. This is information I would not want to be made public. I am concerned. I don't think I should have to pay the fees (past a certain date) requested as the service was so poor, however I also don't want my information out there.

How does this align with privilege etc? I'm confused to be honest. And a little shocked.

Privilege can be a very complicated subject.

its not possible to advise whether the emails you refer to are disclosable with seeing them and understanding the context in which they were sent

consider seeking legal advice.

Anything in the bundle will be seen by the Court, but is not made public

Thank you - i'm not so concerned about the court having the bundle, but more in court can he refer to said documents, thereby making them public.

I did seek legal advice from a lawyer friend who said yes - privilege in general refers to advice, and so she has seen it presented in court.

Thank you for your responses
