Inheritance act versus carer of disabled child

Hi Looking for a place to find someone who who has experience of winning in a very specific aspect of inheritance act !
So 3 generations of family, 1 grandparent, 2 full time and broke carer, 3 mentally disabled child. Grandparent helps out with money then dies and leaves money in will. So far not unusual.

Stepgrandparent sues under inheritance act for the money (already has much more than carer). Vastly complex situation develops. Carer has a certain claim based on poverty but really the issue is the costs imposed by giving the disabled child a decent life given care needs, extra costs of doors, holidays, repairing daily damage etc Stepgrandparent claims these costs are not covered under the act. We need a legal opinion from someone who has had success in this sort of thing. Sadly many solicitors approached have not and finding one that has is hard. Just maybe someone here knows where to go to find someone ?

Long shot but worth a try !

I'm a solicitor and specialise in challenging wills and Inheritance Act claims. If I'm honest, I think you'll struggle to find a solicitor that has dealt with your exact scenario because every Inheritance Act claim is so different. It's very rare to find two similar cases because even if the facts are the same, the size and nature of the estate and the financial needs of the parties will be so different. Most Inheritance Act claims settle to you may not find a solicitor who has "won" at trial in a case similar to yours. I'm happy to have a chat with you if you DM me to see what we can do.
