What is likely to be imposed if anything re child contact

Trying to figure out what's likely to happen here as case law thin on the ground. Even the dumbest criminals don't usually stoop this low. My ex is being charged with supplying weed to my 12 year old daughter. He's on bail with no contact for now, does anyone have any idea what's likely to happen after this regarding contact with her? Dd1 15 wants nothing to do with him so that's not a concern but dd2 dotes on him and would be back living with him in a flash if she had the chance. Has anyone experienced this before and what happened re child contact? I don't really want her near him at all but as I said she adores him so there's likely to be some contact I imagine 😞

At 12, the court would listen to what she wants in all honesty. However may be mindful of the fact he will require regular drug testing.. he may also be asked to do parenting courses.

Don't expect him not to get any contact. Especially if your daughter wants it.

It's really surprised me how little concern there is for a 12 year old child being given a free flowing supply of drugs by her own father. To me, it's absolutely shocking, I don't get it. I'm hoping he lands in jail and that'll be that. It's where he belongs.

The court is going to take very little notice of the wishes of a 12 year old whose father has been supplying her with weed. She clearly isn't able to protect herself and hasn't learnt how to say 'no', so the court are not going to allow her to live with him, or spend time with him alone initially.

You should be applying for a prohibited steps order to prevent him having any contact.

@JustAnotherLawyer2 this is encouraging. Will social work instigate anything or will I have to do this myself? They are already involved in the case and we're present when my children have their statements. I'd have liked to think that with such a cut and dry case, I'm not going to be expected to go through the trauma and expense of then having to battle in court to keep my girl safe 😞
