Charity - administration process

Posting on behalf on a friend. If a charity calls in administrators without correctly following the right processes, can things be brought to a halt and/or reversed?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Call the charity commission with the concern, they have regulatory powers and should be involved anyway

prh47bridge · 20/12/2023 21:13

In what way have they not followed the right processes?

Karensalright · 20/12/2023 21:32

I know you are a solicitor @prh47bridge and respect your efforts but charity trustees quite often have no clue about their obligations, and sometimes neither do administration practitioners, having said that a pertinent question

@Karensalright I am well aware of that. However, without knowing in what way OP thinks the charity has failed, it is impossible to give any meaningful advice.

Sorry didn’t mean to offend

prh47bridge · 21/12/2023 20:58

You didn't. Smile

prh47bridge · 21/12/2023 20:58

(offend, that is)

Karensalright · 21/12/2023 21:05

Oh good thanks for all your efforts.
