GDPR breach?

Hi all
I've had a letter through from the liquidators of my former employer giving info on the upcoming process. It includes the financial position of the company and all the creditors including a full list of the employees (around 150) and their home addresses and how much they are owed from which you could have a good go at working out their salaries. This will have been sent out to all 150 employees. Is this ok? It seems wrong to me that I now know this information about everyone I worked with. Thank you!

Is this document available to the public via Companies House etc?

This is almost certainly required information to be provided to all creditors under the Insolvency Act. It's most likely part of or all of the "statement of affairs" which must be filed at Companies House. It is not a GDPR breach because it is a statutory requirement.

Agree with @hidingmystatus

The Insolvency (England & Wales) Rules 2016 require the liquidators to give each creditor a list giving the name, address and amount owed to each creditor. As this is information the liquidator is required to give, it is not a breach of GDPR.
