Big company refusing to pay sub-contact work

Background: Finishing up a highly problematic project as sub-contractor (I have a small limited company) to a large multi-National company. Tail end of project, and I submitted an estimate to them, which they approved, before completing the final phase.
I have just received an email from the project mgr, stating they are not going to pay -I should have done the work for free, other contractors did not charge, they have no budget- I am pretty comfortable that I am legally covered especially if I take them to court (bill around £2500). I have a firm of solicitors I use when this happens, & sabre-rattling is usually enough.
My question is this: as part of sabre-rattling I will say to them that they don’t want to get a reputation for failing to pay sub-contractors. Are there any web sites for this-“Name & Shame greedy businesses who won’t pay their suppliers”? There is a FB (or 2) for professionals in the industry, but it is pretty niche.
Any ideas gratefully received.

no, and don’t threaten like that, just keep it professional.
invoice them with an accompanying note saying as agreed etc.
then there are standard letters you can find online to chase them…
then small claims court

Arak. Thanks. I was debating whether to do the name & shame bit or not.
The project manager sent a long, moaning email, saying they had gone over budget on this project, etc, etc. I don’t think she understands contract law. She suggested phoning to discuss. Fortunately, invoice is not overdue for about 10 days, so I can start the chasing progress once that date has passed. I have standard letters for this.
I am not going to engage with her directly, but will just send an email plus attachments setting out when my offer was made, date & confirmation of their acceptance and state I expect payment accordingly.
My general experience is that some middle mgr will throw a wobbly, but as soon as letters initiating legal action commence, big companies don’t want the hassle & will pay.
Its annoying though & PM has been duplicitous.

I sympathise and can see why you want to name and shame. However, as a pp said don’t. Just follow your normal non-payment process and walk away with dignity.

On what planet??

Charlotte Street -pathetic, no? My experience is that project manager roles are given to those who have no real skill set - which is a shame, because project managing is an actual job!

What cheeky mares!

Follow normal procedures then sell the debt to a debt collection agency.

It's just not worth the hassle and you will get something without having to do all of the chasing.
