Please only reply with serious information.

I am a USA LVN however i was revoked in 2012 and reinstated in 2017 and have completed 1/2 of my Board Order. I would like to pursue a Solicitor or Barrister career. I obtained a bachelors in 2023. I am also wanting to find out if i can teach in Europe in elementary schools and high schools. Does anyone know any information about this scenario. I also know the UK does not have licensed practical/vocational nurses. (maybe in ireland but not for sure)

Have you looked into what's required to train and qualify as a solicitor or barrister in the UK (relevant which UK country you are in/intending to practice in)? Good start that you have a Bachelor's degree.

What subject are you looking to teach?

Are you concerned that the revocation will have an impact? Or were you wanting you leverage your nursing for something?

In which country are thinking of moving to/working in?

Immigration issues and legal qualification routes will vary between countries.

You could potentially get a job as a healthcare assistant - which is our nearest equivalent. You could possibly get sponsorship for a visa with a company like these people

I say possibly/potentially as it will depend on your exact circumstances.

If you want to train to be a lawyer, you would need to study in the country that you want to work in as the law varies - even between countries such as England and Scotland. In England, depending on the quality of your batchelor's degree you would need to take an LLB which is a post graduate course and it is expensive for overseas students, then find a training post.

You are required to have a teaching qualification to teach in UK state schools, but not private ones - however, it's unlikely that you would qualify for a visa (for that and they wouldn't employ you unless you had extensive teaching qualifications.

@Xenia knows about solicitor training. My DD trained to be a barrister. The Bar Stsndards Board explains how to become a barrister. Both a pretty hard to do.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I've heard its hard to get going in Europe in it. I plan to enroll online in the GDL Solicitor program or Barrister Program. I'm just excited to find out if it will have any affect with the USA Board of Nursing. I think an attorney Trumps most careers when dealing with another person however a nurse can also take control of the situation. Its been very fun and pretty wild so far. However I'm not into doing any bad things. I cannot wait to see if I can get accepted to barrister training and have some documentation and see what happens. Teaching would definitely work since UK does not have LVNs thanks for the replies and not making fun. It's so sad to see a revoke and basically very humiliating. have a nice day and Cheers to the UK.
