What do I do with these legal house documents

We are clearing out today. I have found the title deeds and legal documents from my previous property. What do I do with these, send them to the land registry? Send them to my old address?

I dont really want to get into dialogue with the person who bought the flat (although she might not be there now) because after we moved, someone took some credit cards and pin numbers which were mistakenly sent to the address by the bank after we moved, and drew out money. We had to try to claim the money back from the bank, leading to a complaint to the Ombudsman who found in our favour,, but we know that it must have been her, couldnt have been anyone else.

It was 14 years ago we moved.

I'd mail them to the house. Lang registry titles are all online now so any historic documentation will just be destroyed.

Not to the owner (who may or may not be their person you sold to), just "The Property Owner c/o Address". You don't have to give a forwarding address or any contact details.

Even if they have no legal purpose any more they may be of interest to the current or future owners so should stay with the house in my view. My neighbour has a 130 year old indenture relating to her plot framed in her hallway. Ours is long lost, sadly.

Yes I think I'll do that, thanks
