Hi, last week I went to court to obtain a child arrangement order all was agreed and finalised but it was a bit confusing and I can't remember everything!
i am waiting for the order to come in the post does anyone know how long it takes to arrive?
Can the order be enforced if we don't have it to refer to?
Thank you 😊

Depending on who's barrister drafted the order, you can request a draft copy to read in the interim before the order has been sealed.

Until the latter has taken places, it's technically not enforceable.

Thank you. Just us and the judge so waiting for paperwork it is, hopefully it won't take too long 🤞

If you were present in court, it absolutely IS enforceable.

I fully agree with this. Nothing technical about it. The order exists and is enforcable immediately if the other party was present in court.

Nope he's not sticking to it AND says since paperwork hasn't arrived he doesn't have to! Half term agreed 50/50 but he now wants the start of week which was allocated to me. I bought zoo tickets organised play dates etc because I thought plans were solid.
Dad now says he cant do the days allocated after he told court he could. Court want consistent nights to help dd settle better due to anxiety.
Dad says i'm unreasonable and a bad Mum because I won't swap my days and I want to stick to what we agreed ☹️

Stick to your guns. As others have said, the fact the paperwork hasn't arrived is irrelevant. The court order is enforceable.
