Ex threatning court over me moving when contact has remained?

I separated from my exH around 2 years ago. We have a 50/50 shared care in place. After finding the city I was living in too expensive I moved around 30 miles away (a 45 minute journey in rush hour) from where I was but kept our 5 year old at the same school as I work in the previous city anyway and I only do two of the school runs. I never changed any of the arrangements and continued to do all the drop offs when I return the little one, but he is threatening to take me to court (ive had letters from his lawyer) as he feels the 45 minute journey is too long for those two school runs and wants to become the resident parent. Does he have a chance here? I really couldn't afford to stay in the previous city (I am saving over £1000 a month, and thats even with increased petrol costs) now we also have a wonderful garden and house and I feel under less extreme pressure with work to make the additional funds to live in the city. I didn't move to frustrate contact in any way. I was previously renting, (am not renting here) and I would have had no way of ever buying in the previous city either so I would be committing to expensive rents for the forseeable. My ex also has a slight travel to the school on the bus (around 30 mins) so I am baffled by the threats but worried nonetheless.

I moved 30 miles away. Court weren't interested.. 45 min journey was normal. Exh did none of the trips. As dc got to teens they got the bus /train at their own suggestion.. Secondary school age. Imo your ex is a twat.

Government guidance is that a journey of up to 45 minutes each way is reasonable for a primary school child. I don't rate his chances.
