Getting a will for the first time - and buying property later?

Hello,
I have had a google and can't find out. I want DH and I to make a will (straightforward mirror will), especially as we have children. We are also hoping to buy our first property at some point over the next year. If we make a will before then will it have to all be redone?

Shouldn't do. You can just refer to any and all property owned or whatever the standard wording is.

@Palavah thanks for that - I was hoping that might be the case.

Any property would just be included in your estate. The important thing to to get a will in place. Good idea to do a POA while you are at it, download the forms, sign and witness and send them off.

Make sure to use that link and not one of the rip offs who will charge you just for filling in the form.
