Non molestation order expiration

Hi.
Those who've had a non molestation order served against an ex.. When it expired, has your ex started harassing you again? The non molestation order I have against my ex is due to expire in 6 months.. We're currently going through court proceedings for this as well as children's matters. He is trying to get the nmo discharged and we have a final hearing in a week to see if it will be set aside or discharged. It's currently the only thing protecting us from this dangerous and violent man..
I'm scared once it expires he will continue to make my life a complete misery. He told me prior to leaving him he would fight me all the way for DD until I have nothing, he said he would make my life a complete misery every single day.. He said he would do his utmost to turn DD against me and he always wins. I've seen him in court twice now and he's trying to goad me by feigning ignorance, smirking and wearing glasses when the bastard has 20/20 vision.
What can I do to ensure I'm protected from this vile human being??

It is possible to get the non mol extended if you have reasons for it. I got mine extended it then ended then two years later I had to get another one x

@Rose1921 did anything happen in the duration for it to warrant being extended? x

I believe it was extended due to a ongoing case in the family court but nothing that he had done violently if that helps x untill the second one

Mine is due to expire in the Summer but we have a fact finding after it expires, can I ask for it to be extended because of that?

I'm not 100% but I would have thought so yes!

Generally - with a non-molestation you will need to demonstrate something has happened to get it extended.
