Hello guys
I have a serious issue and so confused !!
Basically i am living in a housing association home with my little girl . I have lived here on own for over a year ,ex partner moved abroad and wished to return anytime soon to evict me probably next month . He hasn't pay rent or any bills since leaving . Assured tenancy in his name sole . Im an authorised occupant . i was informed that if i was to tell the landlord then they may evict me as i am not a tenant . Notting Hill Genesis . Just to add Ex is unstable and has been violent to me in past . yes im scared of his return .

there are forms to apply D50B and other ones for occupant order however is it compulsory to get a solicitor ? to fill in the form and submit to court . im not sleeping ,eating this is affecting me badly .

Sorry I can't help but bumping for you.

When you say forms to apply, where have you got these from? Have you told the HA he has moved out? Although it may be that he hasn’t paid the rent or bills, the tenancy is still in his name only. How do you know that he is coming back to evict you? Sorry for all the qs, just trying to get a clearer picture.

Contact Womens Aid who can advise you. Unless married or formally engaged, the married womens property act will not be available to you.

Landlord does not know . Ex sent me a txt to say that he is returning and will ask to evict me possibly through court .i will approach women’s aid thank you all for responding to my thread .

@indre33 definitely seek advice from Women's Aid as per the previous poster. You are far better off being honest with them and your HA rather than them finding out further down the line that your ex has left and you have carried on living in the property without letting them know. Wishing you the best of luck x

Op you should seek advice first before speaking to the HA. As you are not the tenant, i'm not sure you were under any obligation to inform them of your partner's absence so don't worry about that too much.
