DRA hearing Grandparents access

I was wondering what is the likelihood of success if a magistrate has said in the initial hearing that they think the children should see their grandparents. I’m actually quite surprised that they did get permission as there is quite a vast back story including me getting a non molestation order against the grandmother. And the grandmother saying terrible things to the children about me. They said that this was mainly to do with the relationship with the adults and don’t seem to even take notice of such things. Thanks.

That should have no bearing on the case, and the magistrate concerned should have nothing further to do with the case having expressed an opinion before hearing any evidence. Assuming this was a lay magistrate.

Thank goodness for that. Thanks Collaborate. There’s still hope.

. Did the magistrate reserve the case to himself ? Hoping not if so maybe apply to get him removed under the grounds collaborate suggested

MelissaD10 I don’t remember him saying that. Would it say on the order when I get it? I have to say I’m not even sure that an NDA would help in anyway as I’m just completely against them having unsupervised access to the children. If I can get him removed I will. Thank you.
