I need advice on relocating to the UK because I have two teens who are desperate to move to the UK again. They are both British because their dad is British and one of the was born in England. My daughter is moving next year and she will be living with family. Now my son has Autism and I won't let him go without me. He is 16 years old and he is an excellent artist and he wants to further his studies and live there permanently. The problem is that I am not British. My husband is British and he lives with me abroad, we are married. We have been together for 20 years now, He is disabled. What is the best route to take to getting a visa that will allow me to stay with them?

You need to speak to an immigration lawyer.
Unlikely anyone here will have the expert knowledge you need

You need to apply for a spouse visa before you enter the uk and will need to meet the financial criteria. If you’re just bringing your partner and no children, you’ll need an income of at least £18,600 per year before tax. If your partner is bringing children with them you’ll need to earn an extra £3,800 for the first child, and an extra £2,400 for each child after that.

If you’re bringing children and your partner is already in the UK, you’ll still need to show your income is £18,600 plus the extra amounts for your children.

Your income can be a combination of:

earnings from employment or self-employment - but only if you’re working in the UKa pensionmaternity, paternity, adoption or sick payother income such as from rent or shares

If your income is less than you need, you can use cash savings to meet the financial requirement. You’ll need £16,000 plus £2.50 for every £1 your income is below the financial requirement. The savings must have been in your name for 6 months or more. Income can also be from rents or pensions.

I am assuming your husband will be coming too? Because if not that is different.

I thought it was £32,000 for income . My bil has just gone through the process, they have no children but he needed to prove he had that income for his wife to stay in the UK

What about your background - do you have any any EU parents/grandparents that you could apply for an EU passport and move before Brexit?
