Do judges/solicitors ever think 'ffs...'?

Thinking back to all the shit my ex put me through and one event keeps making me think this.

He refused to allow me to take the kids abroad for a summer holiday - absolutely no reason why not other than control - and told me to take it to court. By this point I'd had enough of his bullshit so I called his bluff, completed the forms myself and got a court date. Got there and his solicitor had been in touch to give me permission. Judge gave me a residency order anyway, I was there for 15 minutes at the most.

So, how often do you guys think 'ffs...' in cases like this? Or any time really?

I was in court yesterday with my ex, they read cafcass recommendations and my ex had a paddy at the judge because he was given 2 hours in a contact centre and ordered to do a dapp course and alcohol blood tests to ensure he stays sober. Came out of court room and ex demands 3 Saturdays a month for contact centre I said no, ex went running to the usher and asked to see the judge again. Usher came up to me and said they'll get us back in quickly, as soon as we went in judge rolled his eyes at him and said that sometimes we dont always get what we deem as fair. The bellend cant just take that after 2 months indirect contact he is being granted some direct contact, although he doesn't deserve it for what hes done in the past.

My mind does the most remarkable expressions without a flicker on my face. Best is when judge catches your eye - both thinking the same thing. Nothing said. Nothing done. Everything shared in a blank look.

Family court 2009 Judge says to ex you will not win this, you MUST get the advice of a solicitor before the next hearing. He didn't. Judge ruled in my favour.

Currently reading ‘the secret barrister’ eye opening stuff! It’s criminal rather than family law but some of the tales are shocking. Although I have worked in an abuse service so sadly they aren’t that shocking.

Regularly! (Not family law though).
