If when drawing a contract, you quote for some points some requirements of the law , that in other aspects you don't want to apply to this contract , is it a problem?
I.e. by quoting this law do y make the whole contract subject to it (while legally you dont have to) ?

If you require a contract that you wish to hold tight in the event that things go wrong, I strongly suggest you pay a lawyer to overview your draft (at the very least), but preferably get the lawyer to draft it for you.

I'm not sure you can prevent the law applying to contracts, whether you make specific quotes from it or not. It's not pck and mix

Which jurisdiction are you in?
