Ex mudslinging in Form E and questionnaire - rise above it?

Have namechanged for this as I'm aware that ex is very likely to be stalking. In the process of financial resolution (FDA hearing in May).

Have exchanged Forms E. I am looking for division of the pensions for our 16 year marriage, but I am now remarried so not seeking any other financial provision, although I have queried the amount of maintenance he pays as it is below the CMS minimum (he lives abroad and that's being pursued separately). I am self-representing.

Anyway, having taken advice, I wrote my statement of issues which was very clear - just two lines long regarding the division of the pensions, and a query regarding the amount of maintenance paid. My questionnaire was similarly straightforward, and asks for full 12 month statements for the six credit cards and bank accounts he hasn’t provided.

His questionnaire has arrived and is pages long, asking in detail why I’ve spent x y and z, claiming work trips I’ve taken are holidays, and disputing the amounts I’ve put down as the cost of living. His Form E is also very personal and very nasty. It also demands that I get up to date consultant reports for the children to prove that they have SEN, along with various other odd things.

Is the judge likely to insist that I do all of that when all I want is for him to agree to divide the pensions? I really just want this over with.

He's over-egging it. Judges like things nice and simple.

Thank you Collaborate - that’s what I was hoping.
