Criminal question

I've been bingeing on Law and Order UK , and I'm confused: in criminal trials, do y'all not have lesser included offenses? Like a person can be charged with murder and be found NG for that but guilty of manslaughter. TIA!

We do, in two ways. The prosecution may charge the accused with lesser offences as an alternative to the more serious charge. Also, even if the prosecution don't do this, the jury can return an alternative verdict, finding the defendant not guilty of the offence charged but guilty of some other offence.

Thanks so much for the explanation!
